I was on GeoCities back in the 1990s. I moved onto other sites, and eventually abandoned those, too. Like many people, I ran out of time to manage my own web presence, and Web 2.0 was just "more convenient", regardless of how horrible it was. Now that some of the harshest predictions about Web 2.0 have been coming true, it seems like a good time to re-embrace older practices.
Maybe I won't do much with this page, but still, many thanks to Neocities for this platform.
